September 22, 2021 Annual General Meeting Minutes

Directors present: Jim, Rona, Henri, Liz, Bob, Bruce.

Held in Alex Hall with 32 Members present.

1.     Call to order at 9:30 PM.

2.     Adoption of September 9, 2020 Annual General Meeting Draft Minutes.  Moved by Carolyn Allen, seconded by Susan Beecham-Carter, carried.

3.     Matters arising from the minutes. None

4.     Directors Reports

a.     Treasurer’s Report: (see attached) – Jim reported that expenditures this year include a contribution to the Blackie Spit Preservation Society ($1.00 per membership) and the purchase of two AED’s to be installed in the beach area.

b.     Membership Chair’s Report: Henri thanked all canvassers for their efforts and reported that there are approximately 375 memberships, with a few still to come in.

5.     Election of Officers:

a.     Vice-President (a one-year term): Trish McEvoy.

b.     Treasurer: Tracey Hill

c.      Secretary: Liz Bensted

6.     Motion to Adjourn: Moved by Ron Blackwood, Seconded by Rona Tepper.  Meeting adjourned at 9:50 PM.
